Updated November 12, 2025: We have updated the content. Thank you for your patience.

[Introduction]

We’ve added a new Copilot button that gives users a quick and visible entry point to Copilot directly within the file previewer in OneDrive and SharePoint. This button appears near the bottom-right corner of the file previewer (instead of in the command bar) and surfaces contextual prompts for Copilot-supported file types. It also provides access to the Copilot chat. This feature will be available to users with a paid Copilot license.
