Update: The general availability date has been moved to June 12, 2026.
We are announcing the ability to block customer data from being sent in Dataverse audit events to Purview Activity logging in Power Platform. This feature will reach general availability on June 12, 2026.
How does this affect me?
Dataverse audit logs will continue to capture before and after values for Create and Update events within your environment. However, customer data such as financial, health, and personal identifiable information will be removed before audit events are sent to Purview Activity logging. This helps reduce the risk of exposing sensitive data while maintaining auditing functionality within Dataverse.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
