We are announcing the ability to delight your customers with the enhanced chat widget in Dynamics 365 Contact Center. This feature will reach public preview on June 15, 2026.

How does this affect me?
The updated chat widget improves customer engagement and brand consistency with:
  • Faster load times through optimized scripting, ensuring quicker display of the chat button even on slower network connections.
  • Modernized look and feel with expanded customization options to better align with your brand and website design.
  • Quality-of-life improvements, including enhanced media support for smoother customer interactions.
These enhancements are available through a new script tag in the workstream configuration in the Copilot Service admin center.
