We are announcing the ability to dynamically analyze marketing execution and journey performance using natural language with the Marketing Research Agent in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys. This feature will be available for public preview on July 1, 2026.

How does this affect me?
The Marketing Research Agent supports repeatable, predictable analysis through predefined prompts and schema intelligence, which allows it to understand tables, columns, relationships, and marketing key performance indicator (KPI) definitions. Using this analysis, the Marketing Research Agent can quickly diagnose performance issues, such as high unsubscribe rates, low Click-Through Rate, and poor completion. It can use this information to identify likely drivers for the performance issue using natural language to generate a summary of the root causes and then recommend actions to be taken.

The Marketing Research Agent can also connect your marketing performance to outcomes and Return on Investment (ROI). By utilizing data sets, such as purchases, opportunities, or downstream conversion events, it can enhance your Customer Insights – Journeys data to provide ROI analysis without the need to rebuild your reporting stack.
