Assessment Reasoning
The feature is generally available and affects all Microsoft 365 administrators as it introduces a new AI-powered admin experience across the Microsoft 365 admin center and Copilot Chat. Admins may need to review Entra role assignments, communicate to support teams, and adjust governance policies for AI agents. Configuration and compliance considerations, including blocking or scoping the agent if required, add to implementation effort. User impact is minor as it primarily changes admin workflows rather than end-user experience.

[What and Why:]

Microsoft is making the Microsoft 365 Admin agent generally available for all Microsoft 365 administrators. The agent provides a unified AI-powered administrative experience across Microsoft 365 admin center and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, helping administrators discover, configure, troubleshoot, govern, and manage Microsoft 365 services through natural language conversations. This supports enterprise-ready AI by simplifying administration while respecting existing role-based access controls and requiring administrator approval before any changes are made.

[Rollout Schedule:]
