Power Pages – Create and delete websites using Power Platform CLI
Message ID: MC1442991
We are announcing the ability to create and delete websites using Power Platform command-line interface (CLI) in Power Pages. This feature will reach general availability on August 31, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature introduces new commands to the pac pages CLI for directly managing Power Pages sites. These enhancements help developers be more productive and make operational workflows simpler.

Key capabilities include:
  • Create a new site with pac pages create-site. You can also add a website record ID to create a site from an existing configuration.
  • Delete a site with pac pages delete-site.
You can use these capabilities for site creation and deletion in Azure DevOps tasks and GitHub Actions. This setup lets you automate tasks in your CI/CD pipelines.

What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
