We are announcing the ability to configure minimum interval of time entry duration in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability on August 31, 2026.
How does this affect me?
This feature allows users to configure the allowable increment for time entry durations to ensure that all logged time adheres to their organization’s time-tracking policies. When enabled, users can only create or modify time entries whose duration is a multiple of the configured value (Ex. 15 minutes, or 1 hour), helping prevent erroneous or non-compliant time entries from being recorded.
