Assessment Reasoning
The update revises the timeline for retiring legacy whiteboards and the standalone app; deadlines start within one month. Admins must identify any remaining legacy content, complete migration before tooling is retired, communicate deadlines, and update processes. User impact is significant for those using legacy boards or standalone apps, with data loss risk after October and workflow changes requiring Teams. Effort is high due to migration, verification, training updates, and user support.
