Assessment Reasoning
The Admin app in Teams, Outlook and Microsoft365.com will be removed by October 2026, requiring admins to adapt processes and guide stakeholders to alternative tools such as the Admin Center or Admin Agent. This affects organisations using the lightweight admin interface in Teams and Outlook, so service continuity planning and communications are necessary. User-facing changes are minimal as the app served very small business admins, but IT owners must validate dependencies. Timelines are near-term, so planning and preparation should start soon.
