Updated Copilot in Microsoft Edge Experience

[What and Why:]

As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify the Copilot experience for customers, we are beginning to roll out updates to Copilot in Microsoft Edge in the coming weeks. As part of this update, we will adopt an updated icon across all Copilot entry points within Edge and the Copilot sidepane will adopt a simplified UX. Also, included is upgraded functionality and features, like Copilot Voice and Vision. Security, compliance, privacy, and enterprise controls remain unchanged.

[Rollout Schedule:]

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out on mid-October 2026 and expect to complete by mid-October 2026.

[Impact on Your Organization:]

All users who have Copilot turned on in Edge will see these updates. Existing policies remain available to admins.
