Assessment Reasoning
Microsoft has temporarily removed the PowerPoint Brand pane, pausing its availability while refinements are made. Admins only need to inform affected users and update internal references, as no configuration steps are required. User impact is moderate because a visible design tool has been withdrawn, but existing Brand Kits remain intact. The change is temporary with low operational urgency beyond communication and monitoring for reinstatement.

Microsoft PowerPoint: Temporary removal of the Brand pane
Message ID: MC1483886

[What and why]

We have temporarily removed the Brand pane from Microsoft PowerPoint while we make additional improvements to the experience.

The Brand pane was introduced to provide users with a dedicated place in PowerPoint to discover and use assets from available Brand Kits, including brand colors, logos, images, icons, and fonts. Based on customer feedback, we are refining the experience before making it broadly available. This work will help ensure the feature better meets customer expectations when it returns in a future release.
