Assessment Reasoning
The retirement of DSPM classic and DSPM for AI classic has been delayed from late 2026 to late January 2027, giving admins more time to transition. Organisations using the classic experiences must move workflows to the current unified DSPM experience and update internal documentation. The change primarily affects Microsoft Purview, security and compliance admins who manage posture reporting and investigations. Urgency remains moderate as action is required before the January 2027 retirement date.
