Assessment Reasoning
Microsoft has revised rollout dates for the Teams personal message reminders feature, moving them from early November to mid-November 2026. The change is user-facing and adds new personal reminder functionality across chat and channels. As it is on by default and needs no admin action, admin impact remains moderate, mainly for awareness and communication. The update slightly reduces urgency as timing has been pushed back, but user-facing visibility keeps user impact moderate to noticeable.
