The back up and restore environments feature for power platform has been extended to allow your default-type environment backups to be restored to a developer-type environment only. This updated feature is generally available as of January 2025.
How does this affect me?
This updated feature allows admins to restore their available default environment backups to a developer-type environment only.
If you do not have a developer environment, visit Create a developer environment to learn more about provisioning a developer environment.
What do I need to do to prepare?
