On February 20, 2025, the ‘New Analytics’ toggle on Analytics page for custom copilot agents will be removed and the new analytics page in Copilot Studio will be the default experience for users.
The new analytics page that was introduced in November 2024 includes key improvements such as new metrics and analytics for actions and knowledge sources, improved agent performance, and a modern experience. In addition, the new analytics page offers full geographic support and will be available across all regions.
How does this affect me?
Following this change, users will no longer have the option to revert to the traditional analytics experience.
Please note, Classic copilot customers will not be affected by this change and will continue to have access to the traditional analytics page only.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness and no action is required. For more information on the new analytics page, please refer to Review and improve agent effectiveness in Copilot Studio.
For customers that are on the legacy ‘billed session’ license model and wish to access the billing page using the traditional analytics page, contact Microsoft Support to get the toggle back.

The update regarding the removal of the ‘New Analytics’ toggle on the Analytics page for custom copilot agents is certainly an interesting development! Set to take effect on February 20, 2025, this change will transition users to the new analytics page in Copilot Studio as the default experience.
For admins, this means embracing a more modern and efficient analytics experience, complete with enhanced metrics and improved insights into agent performance. The full geographic support and the availability across all regions will undoubtedly make it easier to analyze performance in a more comprehensive manner. However, the absence of the option to revert to the traditional analytics experience may require some adjustment, particularly for those who have become accustomed to the previous setup. Change can be a bit like trying to teach an old dog new tricks, but with the right attitude, it can also be a chance to learn something new!
For users, the transition promises a fresh and improved interface that is designed to enhance the overall user experience. The new metrics and analytics for actions and knowledge sources will likely provide valuable insights that can drive better decision-making and ultimately improve agent effectiveness. It’s an exciting opportunity to leverage these advanced features for greater productivity.
The impact of these changes seems quite significant, as it aligns with the ongoing trend toward modernization and optimization of tools in the workplace. While it may take some time to adjust, the benefits of the new analytics page are likely to outweigh any initial discomfort.
