The recent update to Power Pages, version 9.7.3.x, is set to roll out on April 19, 2025, and it promises to bring a host of benefits for both admins and users. While there won’t be any solution updates, the improvements in performance and security are certainly noteworthy. After all, who doesn’t love a little extra security to keep those pesky cyber gremlins at bay?

For admins, the maintenance window means that the Portal Management page will be in a read-only state for a short period. While it might feel a bit like being told to sit in the corner during a lively party, this downtime is temporary and ultimately essential for ensuring a smoother, more secure experience moving forward. Plus, the automatic upgrade means less manual work—who doesn’t appreciate having a few extra minutes in their day?

Users will also benefit from this update, as the fixes for previously reported issues will enhance the overall experience on Power Pages. A more responsive website translates to happier users, and let’s be honest, happy users are the best kind of users!

In terms of impact, the changes are likely to be quite significant. Improved performance and security will not only make interactions smoother but also instill confidence in users—after all, nothing says “I trust this platform” like knowing it’s been updated to fend off potential threats.

So, what do you think about this update? Are you excited about the enhancements, or do you have questions about the process? Let’s get the conversation going!
