We are announcing the ability to see security-related views and statuses for agents feature for Microsoft Copilot Studio. This feature will reach general availability on July 10, 2025.
How does this affect me?
This feature enables makers to see how and when Microsoft has protected their agents, assessed their agents’ status, and determine if any action is needed.
Additionally, this feature provides the following key capabilities:
- Protection shield across views: Views for makers indicating their agent’s security throughout Copilot Studio, giving makers confidence that their agents are covered and secure.
- Agent-specific insights: Provide a detailed view of an agent’s security status, so that makers and coders can easily monitor and assess threats and configurations for that agent.
- Actionable suggestions: Explain security information to makers clearly, with straightforward calls to action. This includes guidance on actions makers can take (such as requiring authentication) and other actions that affect the agent (such as an admin policy).
- Session and activity drill-down: Help makers investigate statistics and trends of blocked messages. The drill-down also includes the scope of prompt attacks prevented, content moderation issues, and governance enforcement.
What do I need to do to prepare?
This message is for awareness and no action is required.
