We are announcing the ability to use Prompt Columns, a new data type in Dataverse. This public preview feature will begin rolling out on July 21, 2025, with an anticipated rollout completion of July 29, 2025.
How does this affect me?
Prompt Columns enable makers to embed AI-powered logic directly into Dataverse tables by defining prompts that generate values based on input columns. These prompts can be anything from simple commands to complex queries. This new capability supports content generation, data analysis, and enhanced workflows without the need to write complex logic.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required. If you would like more information on this feature, please visit the Prompt columns (preview) article.
