We are announcing an update to the prerequisites for managing access to public system views with security roles for Power Platform. This update streamlines admin management when enabling system views for users. This update will be available for public preview on August 4, 2025.
How does this affect me?
After this update, admins will no longer need to enable the EnableRoleBasedSystemViews setting within your environment. Any system views that you previously set to this security role are automatically filtered to the users who have the selected security role assigned.
What action do I need to take?
No action is needed for the system views that you have already set to the security role.
If you would like more information on this update, please refer to Manage access to public system views.
