We are announcing a product feature setting, preview and experimental AI models, to govern the availability of preview and experimental models in Microsoft Copilot Studio. This setting will be available on August 29, 2025.
This setting will replace the current AI Builder “Enable the usage of AI Builder model types that are in preview” setting. There is no impact from this change on existing AI Builder experiences.
How does this affect me?
With this setting, administrators can control the availability of preview and experimental AI models in an environment.
To access this setting:
- Navigate to the Power Platform admin center
- Go to Manage > Environments
- Select an environment
- Go to Settings > Product > Features > Preview and experimental AI models
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
