AWS Parallel Computing Service (AWS PCS) now supports the Slurm REST API. This new feature enables you to programmatically submit jobs, monitor cluster status, and manage resources using HTTP requests instead of relying on command-line tools.
AWS PCS is a managed service that makes it easier for you to run and scale your high performance computing (HPC) workloads and build scientific and engineering models on AWS using Slurm. The Slurm REST API helps you automate cluster operations and integrate HPC resources into existing systems and workflows, including web portals, CI/CD pipelines, and data processing frameworks, all without the overhead of maintaining additional REST API infrastructure.
This feature is available in all AWS Regions where AWS PCS is available, and there’s no additional cost to use the feature. To learn more about using the Slurm REST API, see the AWS PCS User Guide.
