We are announcing new metrics available for alerts in the Monitor section of the Power Platform admin center. This feature is available in public preview as of March 11, 2026.
How does this affect me?
With this feature, users can configure alert rules on the data request success rate and data request latency canvas app metrics. In addition to existing metrics, users can now set up alerts based on the following:
- Data request success rate – Monitor the percentage of successful data requests made by canvas apps and get notified when the rate drops below your defined threshold.
- Data request latency – Monitor how long data requests take in your canvas apps and get notified when latency exceeds your defined threshold.
What action do I need to take?
