We are announcing that a new tenant‑level Copilot setting to manage Dataverse data availability in Microsoft 365 Copilot will be available in the Microsoft 365 admin center on April 9th, 2026.
How does this affect me?
With this release, a new Microsoft 365 Copilot setting, Dataverse data available in M365 Copilot, will be available in the Microsoft 365 admin center. This setting provides tenant‑level control over whether Dataverse business data can be accessed from Microsoft 365 Copilot chat and in‑app Copilot experiences.
What action do I need to take?
For tenants in the European Economic Area, admins will need to follow the steps in this documentation: Enable Microsoft 365 admin center Copilot Dataverse settings to set their tenants to allow their Microsoft 365 Copilot users to access their Dataverse data.
