We are announcing the ability to improve engagement and message timing with Outreach Optimization Agent in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys. This feature will reach public preview on June 25, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature enables you to add the Outreach Optimization Agent to your journey, select the emails you want delivered, and let the agent handle timing and cadence automatically.

With the Outreach Optimization Agent, you can:
  • Start with an intelligent baseline: Outreach Optimization Agent automatically creates a baseline messaging plan for your audience by analyzing overall historical engagement patterns, producing a smart, generic plan that is designed to work well for most customers before any individual optimization is applied.
  • Listen to incoming interactions and adapt the plan in real time: The agent continuously monitors incoming signals, including engagement and non-responsiveness, and adjusts follow up timing, cadence, or exits the plan based on whether the goal is progressing or has been achieved.
  • Respect quiet times: The agent enforces quiet time settings as a hard constraint, ensuring that messages are never sent outside approved communication windows, even if engagement data suggests otherwise.
