Assessment Reasoning
The change introduces sharing of autonomous agents and native triggers in Copilot Studio, which is primarily an enhancement for admins and makers. Admin review is advisable to understand governance and security implications, but Microsoft states no immediate action is required. End-user impact is indirect since functionality works behind the scenes and does not significantly alter user workflows. Urgency is low as this is a public preview feature and existing setups continue to function.

📢 Official Microsoft Message Center Announcement
Copilot Studio – Share autonomous agents to end users
Message ID: MC1428562
We are announcing the ability to share autonomous agents with end users in Copilot Studio. This feature will reach public preview on July 30, 2026.
How does this affect me?
With this feature, you can create triggers for autonomous agents that run using end-user credentials. This enables agents to operate fully in the background, respond to external events, and be shared with end users so the agents can run on their behalf.
In addition, triggers are now a fully native capability within Copilot Studio. You can create, configure, test, update, and delete triggers directly inside Copilot Studio and manage the entire trigger lifecycle end-to-end. Existing triggers built on Power Automate will continue to function as they do today.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
