Assessment Reasoning
The feature introduces expanded visibility in the Agent 365 dashboard for managers with existing Copilot Analytics access. Admins need to review and possibly adjust VFAM access controls, update governance, and align documentation and training. User impact is limited to managers who gain additional reporting capability, so broader end-user disruption is low. Urgency is moderate since rollout starts in about a month and requires prep for access and communication.

Copilot Analytics – Agent 365 dashboard for managers
Message ID: MC1431365

[What and Why:]

We’re extending the Agent 365 Dashboard to managers who already have team-level access to Microsoft Copilot Analytics in Viva Insights. This update gives managers the same core Agent 365 visibility that is being made available to leaders and delegates, scoped to the teams they can view.

With this update, managers can understand how Agent 365 and other agents are being adopted and used across their teams, including agents created in Microsoft 365 Copilot and those created outside of Microsoft 365 Copilot. This helps managers identify adoption trends and understand which agents employees are using. By bringing Agent 365 activity and richer agent details into one view, leaders get a single, consolidated picture of the agents running in their organization, along with context on who built each agent and why.

[Rollout Schedule:]

  • General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in late August 2026 and expect to complete by late August 2026.
  • General Availability (GCC): We will begin rolling out in late August 2026 and expect to complete by mid-September 2026.

[Impact on Your Organization:]

Who is affected: Managers who are enabled to access team-level Microsoft Copilot Analytics in Viva Insights.

Platform: Web

What will happen:

  • Managers with team-level access to Microsoft Copilot Analytics in Viva Insights will be able to view Agent 365 data in the Agent Dashboard, based on their existing access scope.
  • The dashboard will include Agent 365 adoption and engagement insights, such as active agents, active users, sessions, returning users, and usage by group.
  • Managers can view usage insights for agents created in Microsoft 365 Copilot or across all agents in their organization.
  • Customers will continue to see Agent 365 data only if the existing eligibility requirements are met, including Agent 365 licensing, at least 50 assigned Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses, and sufficient agent activity.
  • Agent activity insights will continue to respect the minimum group size threshold.

[What you can do to prepare:]

  • Your organization can manage access to the Agent 365 Dashboard for managers through View Feature Access Management (VFAM) controls at the user, group, and tenant levels. These controls are available under the Viva Insights web app settings.
  • Review this change with your works council, if applicable, and update internal documentation or training materials as appropriate for your organization.
