Assessment Reasoning
Rollout of build 101.26052.0009 for Defender on Linux has been paused due to issues on FIPS-enabled RHEL 8/9. Admins need to halt upgrades and track for the revised package, with some review of device state required. Impact is mainly operational for security and endpoint teams, with minimal direct user effect. Urgency is moderate because incorrect upgrades could fail and new guidance is expected soon.
