Assessment Reasoning
The upgraded Copilot new tab page adds new AI capabilities within Microsoft Edge, integrates Copilot chat and work content, and allows organizational data to surface. Admins have optional configuration steps using management policies, group assignment and governance checks. The experience is off by default, so immediate disruption is low, but planning is needed for licensing, compliance and communication if enabling the feature. Users will notice workflow enhancements once enabled, but change is contained within Edge new tab functionality.
