Assessment Reasoning
This is a new configurable policy in Teams requiring mandatory consent acknowledgment before joining meetings, designed for compliance purposes. Admins must plan configuration in Teams admin center, create multilingual consent messaging, update policies, and communicate with users. Users will notice an additional consent step only if the feature is enabled, which is optional and disabled by default. The feature rollout timeline is months away, reducing immediate urgency, but preparation is needed for compliance-focused organisations.
