We are announcing the ability to copy externally scheduled projects in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability on September 4, 2026.
How does this affect me?
This feature enables copy functionality for externally scheduled projects. Users can copy externally scheduled projects and copy the project entity in Microsoft Dataverse to a new project. This feature enables the same copy functionality that users of the default scheduling engine have.
