Assessment Reasoning
Timeline for general availability was pushed from September to October, reducing immediate urgency but still requiring readiness before rollout. Admin effort involves updating support documentation, informing helpdesk, and controlling Copilot access where necessary. Users will see a noticeable change in Outlook workflows through a new Copilot feature, but this is optional and intuitive. No major compliance or technical configuration changes are required, though organisations should review AI usage policies.

  • Functionality is built into the Outlook experience and does not require a separate add-in.
  • The feature will be on by default for eligible users.
