We are introducing a flexible query capability in Microsoft Viva Insights Analytics Workbench that enables insights analysts to explore Microsoft 365 Copilot agent adoption using customizable, self-serve queries. Analysts can combine granular agent usage metrics with organizational attributes to understand trends, create tailored reports, and support data‑driven decision making without relying on predefined dashboards.

[Rollout schedule]

  • General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in late September 2026 (previously late July) and expect to complete by early October 2026 (previously late August).

This feature will be enabled automatically for eligible Viva Insights analyst users and does not require admin action prior to deployment.
