To help administrators better understand and manage adoption of Copilot connectors, Microsoft is introducing a new Copilot connectors usage report in the Microsoft 365 admin center. This report provides visibility into how connectors are used across Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences, helping organizations assess adoption, identify usage patterns, and optimize connector deployment.

This update supports customer feedback requesting clearer reporting on Copilot connector usage across entry points such as Copilot Chat, Search, and agents.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 519571.

[When this will happen:]

  • Public Preview (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late June 2026 and expect to complete by early July 2026.
  • General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late September 2026 (previously early September) and expect to complete by end of September 2026 (previously mid-September).
