[What and why:]

We’re introducing Create interactive slides in PowerPoint for Windows, Mac and web. This capability helps users create interactive, full-slide visuals that explain complex concepts, timelines, comparisons, systems, and data.

  • Users can start creating interactive slides from the PowerPoint ribbon, on the Home and Insert tabs with the “Interactive Slide” button, and in Copilot chat in PowerPoint with the “Create Interactive Slide” skill. 
  • Attendees will be able to interact with slides created by the skill when viewing the slide in PowerPoint Live for Microsoft Teams. 

By making sophisticated visual communication easier to create directly in PowerPoint, this experience can help users communicate ideas more clearly and create engaging presentations with less manual effort.

Frontier and Microsoft 365 Insider Beta channel 

  • Skill now available in PowerPoint for Windows and Mac 
  • Ribbon Button in PowerPoint for Windows and Mac: By late September 2026
