Assessment Reasoning
The change removes the Viva Insights public preview opt-in for GitHub Copilot metrics and makes these metrics visible by default, affecting data visibility and privacy management. Admins must review who has access to Copilot dashboards and update internal documentation but there is no technical configuration required. Users may notice GitHub Copilot data appearing in existing reports, but the experience is largely unchanged. The rollout is planned and automatic, so urgency is moderate for review and communication rather than configuration.
