Assessment Reasoning
This is a new Teams capability allowing users to report suspicious guest invitations for admin and Microsoft review. It affects Teams messaging policies and integrates with the User reported security submissions report, so admins should confirm the policy setting aligns with internal governance. User experience changes moderately as users gain a new reporting option when declining invitations. Rollout starts in early November 2026, so short-term planning and awareness are advisable.
