How does this affect me?
This configuration update adds the new Canadian time zone definitions to Dynamics 365 apps and Dataverse.

What action do I need to take?
After the platform update is available, affected users will need to switch or set their time zone to the appropriate new region-specific time zone for changes to take effect.

Additional app-specific impact and actions are listed below.
Dynamics 365 Field Service:
  • Impact: The schedule board may include discrepancies of one hour; some mobile app scenarios may display incorrect dates or times with the new Canadian time zones.
  • Action: Apply the Dynamics 365 Field Service app update in Power Platform admin center. For affected mobile scenarios, refer to known issues to select an alternative time zone with the same UTC offset.
Dynamics 365 Project Operations:
  • Impact: Task Grid or Project Tasks may not open when using a new Canadian time zone. An app update will be available by November 1, 2026.
  • Action: Apply the finance and operations apps app update when it’s made available.
