Assessment Reasoning
This introduces new monitoring metrics and optional alerts for Copilot Studio agents, improving visibility into agent performance. It primarily affects admins responsible for managed environments but does not require immediate configuration changes. The impact is moderate for admins and minimal for users as it is a reporting enhancement rather than a functional change. Urgency remains modest since availability is scheduled and no action is required.

📢 Official Microsoft Message Center Announcement

Power Platform – Copilot Studio agent metrics and alerts
Message ID: MC1538998
We are announcing the availability of metrics and alerts in Power Platform Monitor for agents created in Copilot Studio. This feature will reach general availability by December 4, 2026.

How does this affect me?
Admins will be able to monitor the operational health and usage of conversational and autonomous agents under their purview with two new metrics:
  • Agent session success rate: Percentage of successful autonomous tasks or resolved conversational sessions.
  • Recent agent sessions: Daily count of distinct agent sessions.
For agents in Managed Environments, admins can also configure custom thresholds and optional email notifications to help identify agents whose session success rate falls below a configured threshold.

What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
