Assessment Reasoning
This notice announces the upcoming end of support for Copilot in the Power Automate flow designer effective 30 November 2026. Admins should review how makers use the Copilot designer, update documentation, and inform users of the change. User impact is moderate since flows remain functional but the AI-assisted designer will no longer be available, requiring a shift to other tools. Urgency is moderate as action is needed before the support end date.

📢 Official Microsoft Message Center Announcement

Power Automate – Information regarding the end of support for Copilot in the designer for cloud flows or agent flows.
Message ID: MC1540258
On November 30, 2026, Copilot in the designer for cloud flows or agent flows will have reached end of support.

How does this affect me?
Makers will no longer be able to use Copilot in the designer for cloud flows or agent flows. This deprecation doesn’t delete, move, or change existing cloud flows or agent flows, including flows created or edited with Copilot.

Makers will still be able to create, edit, test, and run cloud flows and agent flows in the designer, including starting from templates. Flows may also be edited directly in the designer, using the expression editor to write expressions, and using the flow checker and run history to troubleshoot.

What action do I need to take?
Please communicate as appropriate with your Power Automate and Copilot Studio users.

To keep building and editing flows in natural language, please use the Power Automate plugin in a supported AI assistant, such as GitHub Copilot, or Connect to Microsoft Copilot Studio with MCP.
