📢 Official Microsoft Message Center Announcement

Sales agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot – Semantic model in Sales Agent
Message ID: MC1540293
We are announcing the ability to enable semantic model support for Sales Agent. This feature will reach general availability on November 17, 2026.

How does this affect me?
The semantic model signals help Sales Agent better understand CRM data structure, views, relationships, forms, and business terminology.

Administrators can fine-tune the semantic model signals to include the CRM tables, relationships, views, and glossary terms that Sales Agent can use when grounding responses. This helps improve response quality, especially in environments with custom CRM schemas and complex data relationships.

Sellers can ask questions in Sales Agent using natural language and get answers that better reflect custom CRM tables, relationships, forms, views, and terminology. This helps sellers uncover customer context with more accurate interpretation of CRM data, and it helps admins minimize glossary maintenance.

Existing permissions and administrator-managed data coverage continue to apply.

What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
