Fixed

An issue has been fixed where Looker would generate inefficient SQL for some Databricks queries that included date manipulation for weekly data. Looker now uses Databricks functions like date_trunc when generating SQL.

For the Spanish (es_ES) locale, the weekday initials for Sunday and Tuesday in the schedule dashboard dialog have been set to the correct values (D and M).

An issue has been fixed where applying filters to a Google Map visualization would require a refresh before the filters would take effect. This feature now performs as expected.

When you use Elite System Activity, the System Activity field scheduled_plan.filters_string is limited to a length of 1.9 MB. Any data beyond the 1.9 MB limit is truncated.

An issue has been fixed where the Explore from SQL Runner query feature could return an error if it found Liquid syntax in the query. The feature now exports the query as plaintext.

The JDBC driver for Databricks connections has been updated to version 3.0.5.

The Tabbed Dashboards Labs feature lets dashboard editors organize dashboard content across multiple tabs within a single dashboard. Adding tabs to dashboards lets you do the following:

  • Better organize content: Group related visualizations and tiles into separate tabs.

  • Enhance performance: Load only the tiles on an active tab, potentially speeding up initial dashboard load times.
