Assessment Reasoning
The rollout of the updated Copilot-aligned search experience in SharePoint Online and OneDrive is already in progress as of November 2026. Admins should test any custom or integrated search scenarios, but deployment effort is low because Microsoft manages the rollout. Users will see notable visual and functional changes in search, including AI-generated summaries and natural-language prompts, so communication and training may be needed. There is no mandatory configuration or compliance action required at this stage.
