We are announcing the Process Mining thin client app for Power Automate Process Mining. This app includes the same features as the previous Process Mining desktop app but allows you to run process mining operations without the need to download the process model to your computer. This app will reach general availability on March 1, 2025, and will be enabled automatically.
How does this affect me?
Users will be able to utilize this app to perform the same functions as in the previous Process Mining desktop app, with the following benefits:
- Downloading the process model is not required, reducing strain on your local resources.
- Hardware requirements for large process models are not required.
- Desktop application updates are no longer required when processing analytical operations.
