Microsoft SharePoint eSignature allows users to easily request eSignatures on a PDF document via Microsoft SharePoint Online. Signers can easily add their electronic signature. Signed documents are then saved securely back to SharePoint.
As communicated in MC800502, SharePoint eSignature electronic signature service, SharePoint eSignature is currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, and is rolling out to all of Europe. As well as rolling out to Europe, SharePoint eSignature will be rolling out to Australia Pacific.

The upcoming rollout of Microsoft SharePoint eSignature to the Australia Pacific region is set to bring significant benefits to both administrators and users. With this new feature, users can seamlessly request electronic signatures on PDF documents directly within SharePoint Online. Gone are the days of relying on third-party plugins—now, everything can be managed within the familiar SharePoint environment.
For admins, this update simplifies the management of eSignatures. They will no longer need to juggle multiple non-Microsoft solutions, which can often lead to compatibility issues and increased workload. Instead, they can focus on streamlining processes and enhancing productivity, all while ensuring that signed documents are securely stored within SharePoint.
Users will undoubtedly appreciate the ease of adding their electronic signatures without the hassle of external applications. This not only saves time but also enhances the overall user experience. Imagine being able to sign off on documents while sipping your morning coffee—now that’s a productivity win!
The impact of these changes is likely to be substantial. By providing an integrated eSignature solution, Microsoft is making it easier for organizations to adopt digital workflows, which can lead to faster turnaround times and improved collaboration. As companies shift towards more paperless operations, the introduction of SharePoint eSignature is perfectly timed.
