The recent announcement about the new “Stay Engaged” card in the Microsoft Viva Connections dashboard is a game-changer for both admins and users alike! With its rollout set to begin in late April 2025, this feature is designed to enhance user engagement by providing a direct link to the Viva Engage feed right from the dashboard.
For admins, the impact is twofold. First, if your organization has yet to configure its Connections dashboard, the new card will automatically appear, making it easy to keep users informed and engaged without extra effort. Second, for those who have already customized their dashboards, the flexibility to add this card allows for tailored user experiences, ensuring that engagement can be prioritized according to the unique needs of the organization. Just think of it as adding a new flavor to your dashboard smoothie—everyone loves a little variety!
For users, the “Stay Engaged” card offers a seamless way to join conversations and interact with content directly within Teams. This accessibility can foster a more connected workplace culture, encouraging collaboration and communication. It’s like having a friendly neighborhood coffee shop right in your office—everyone can drop in, chat, and share ideas!
As we anticipate these changes, it’s essential for organizations to review their current configurations and prepare to inform their users. A little pre-emptive communication can go a long way in ensuring a smooth transition.
