The introduction of the new Delegation feature in Microsoft Viva Pulse is set to make quite a splash in the world of workplace communication! This update allows users to assign up to five delegates to create and send pulses on their behalf, streamlining the process and enhancing collaboration.
For admins, this change means a bit of a shift in how they manage user interactions within the platform. With delegation turned on by default, admins will need to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding this new functionality. While no immediate action is required, a proactive approach in communicating these changes to users could help smooth the transition. A heads-up about the ability to toggle this feature off via Feature Access Management could also come in handy!
Users, on the other hand, will likely find this feature to be a game-changer. Imagine being able to delegate pulse creation when you’re swamped with other tasks! This not only promotes efficiency but also encourages a culture of teamwork. However, it’s worth noting that delegates won’t have access to 1:1 conversations, so privacy remains intact while still fostering collaboration.
Overall, this update is poised to have a significant impact on both admins and users alike. It enhances the functionality of Microsoft Viva Pulse while keeping the focus on teamwork and communication. So, are you excited about the Delegation feature? Or do you have some concerns?
