Microsoft Viva Insights will soon roll out a unified Copilot Analytics experience for Microsoft Copilot Dashboard users and Viva Insights analysts. This is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the value of Copilot Analytics in Viva Insights.
This message applies to the Viva Insights web app.

[When this will happen:]
General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out mid-June 2025 and expect to complete by early July 2025.
[How this will affect your organization:]
After this rollout, the Copilot Dashboard will migrate to the Viva Insights web app. An informational banner in the Copilot Dashboard will inform users of the upcoming change, followed by a migration experience upon rollout. Users of Copilot Analytics in Viva Insights will be able to access the Copilot Dashboard and two additional Copilot usage reports as explained in the table in this message.
All existing tenant configurations and user settings will be migrated to the new experience. Admins can continue to use feature access management controls in Viva to manage Copilot Dashboard and Advanced Insights capabilities in the unified experience.
New experience details
Experiences available to Copilot Dashboard (Copilot Analytics) users:
- Copilot Dashboard
- Reports page that includes aggregated tenant-level reports for Copilot Studio agents and Copilot for Sales adoption
- Delegation and delegate management for leaders to sponsor Copilot Analytics access
- Automatic migration and onboarding experience for preexisting Copilot Dashboard users
Experiences available to Viva Insights Analysts:
- Copilot Dashboard and Reports page, only for Analysts operating in the Global partition
- Ability to publish reports to the Reports page for Copilot Analytics users
- Continued access to advanced analysis capabilities
Experiences for admins:
- Copilot Dashboard and Reports page access for Global admins
- Feature access management controls in Viva that allow Global admins and AI admins to disable access to the Viva Insights web app at the tenant level (applies to all roles except the Insights admin role)

No action is required by admins. All existing tenant settings and user preferences will be honored. Admins can use feature access management controls in Viva to manage Copilot Analytics and Viva Insights experiences.

- Revisit policies and configurations applied to Viva Insights in your organization
- Update training and documentation as needed
