We are deprecating the legacy AI Feature Governance Settings experience from the Power Platform admin center. Going forward, all governance controls related to Copilot and AI features will be available as part of the unified Copilot Hub in the Power Platform admin center.
- The Copilot Hub provides a centralized and consistent governance experience across Power Platform products, helping admins manage feature availability, monitor usage, and ensure compliance more efficiently.
We will begin rolling out this new experience on May 19, 2025, in phases with users being updated gradually.
How does this affect me?
For the current Governance Settings experience:
- Any existing configurations made by admins in the current admin center experience are maintained.
- Going forward, all governance settings for Copilot features must be managed through the Copilot Hub in the Power Platform admin center.
- To view or update these configurations, admins should navigate to the Copilot Hub > Power Pages > Settings section.
What do I need to do to prepare?
This message is for awareness and no action is required. However, we recommend reviewing the Copilot Hub settings at your earliest convenience to ensure governance policies are aligned with your organization’s needs.

The recent update regarding the migration of AI Feature Governance Settings to the Copilot Hub in the Power Platform admin center is set to bring a wave of change for both admins and users. This transition is not just a simple relocation of settings; it represents a significant step towards a more streamlined and user-friendly governance experience.
For admins, the new centralized Copilot Hub will be a game-changer. It simplifies the management of feature availability and usage monitoring across various Power Platform products. The ability to manage everything in one place means less time toggling between different settings and more time focusing on strategic initiatives. Plus, with the promise of improved compliance management, admins can breathe a little easier knowing that they have the tools to keep everything running smoothly.
For users, the impact is equally significant. While the transition might not change their day-to-day experience immediately, the enhancements in governance will lead to a more consistent and reliable use of AI features. As admins get accustomed to the new Hub, users can look forward to a more seamless experience that aligns with their needs and expectations.
Now, let’s sprinkle in a bit of humor to lighten the mood: Think of the Copilot Hub as the new neighborhood coffee shop—everything you need is in one place, the barista (or admin, in this case) knows your preferences, and the ambiance is just right. No more running around town looking for that perfect brew (or setting)!
As the rollout begins on May 19, 2025, it’s essential for everyone to stay informed and engaged. While no immediate action is required, I encourage admins to take a moment to review the Copilot Hub settings and ensure they align with organizational needs—think of it as spring cleaning for your governance policies!
I’d love to hear from you all! How do you think this update will change the way you interact with the Power Platform?
