Viva Engage is adding support for 11 new languages and 3 regional variants, making the platform more inclusive and accessible for global users. This update enhances communication and collaboration across multilingual teams.
[When this will happen:]
General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout will begin in mid-July 2025 and is expected to complete by late July 2025.
[How this affects your organization:]
This update will be available to all Viva Engage users by default. Users will be able to select any of the newly supported languages in the following ways:
- Web and desktop app: Navigate to Settings > Language to choose a preferred language.
- Viva Engage in Teams: Language settings will follow the Teams user language preference.
- Mobile apps (iOS and Android): Language will reflect the device’s system language.

- Vietnamese
- Serbian (Latin)
- Slovak
- Croatian
- Hebrew
- Slovenian
- Lithuanian
- Estonian
- Bulgarian
- Latvian
- English (United Kingdom)
- Spanish (Mexico)
- French (Canada)
[What you can do to prepare:]
No admin action is required prior to rollout. However, we recommend:
- Reviewing your current language configurations.
- Notifying users of the new language options.
- Updating internal documentation or training materials as needed.
