What and Why:
We’re introducing the ability to pin the AppBar directly from the hamburger (≡) context menu in Microsoft Teams. This update provides users with more flexibility in customizing their Teams layout, making it easier to access frequently used apps and tools. This change aligns with user feedback requesting more intuitive layout controls.
Rollout Schedule:
General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout will begin in late July 2025 and is expected to complete by the end of July 2025.

Who is affected: All Microsoft Teams users across all tenants.
What will happen:
- Users will see a new option to “Pin AppBar” when right-clicking the hamburger menu.
- This feature will be ON by default.
- No admin configuration is required.
- There is no change to existing policies or user permissions.
